Gemma recruits professionals across advisory and deal-led environments, including corporate finance and M&A, transaction services, restructuring and special situations, debt and capital advisory, as well as tax, audit and related legal functions into high-performing advisory and investment banking platforms in the UK and internationally.

She supports partner-led, investor-backed and bank-led platforms where hiring decisions directly influence origination, execution and long-term team value. Her work typically focuses on Manager through to Partner level hires, including revenue-generating and leadership roles.

 

She understands how structure, economics and progression differ across boutiques, professional services firms and investment banking teams. This perspective allows her to advise with clarity on team build-out, succession and market positioning.

 

Earlier in her career, Gemma recruited within legal, giving her a strong understanding of how lawyers and advisers work together on transactions and contentious situations.

Originally from Wales, Gemma holds a 2:1 in BA (Hons) in English and has made Manchester her home, where she is an avid Stockport County supporter.
