What You'll Be Doing

  • Support site environmental compliance across air, mining, water and wider environmental requirements, including permitting, regulatory reporting, recordkeeping and environmental monitoring.

  • Coordinate air compliance activities including CEMS/COMS monitoring, stack testing, visual emissions observations and environmental control systems, helping maintain compliance with Title V permits and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage environmental activities across mining and reclamation, drinking water, waste, TRI, Tier II and SPCC requirements, while supporting permit applications and renewals.

  • Build effective relationships with Clark County, Nevada State and Federal environmental agencies, coordinating inspections and supporting investigations and root-cause analysis following spills, equipment malfunctions, unplanned discharges or excess emissions.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience within an industrial environment, with experience in mining or a related industry particularly valuable.

  • Practical environmental experience across areas such as air permitting, emissions monitoring, regulatory reporting, mining/reclamation or water compliance.

  • A BS degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Natural Science or another related technical discipline, and/or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Strong communication and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively with operational teams, management, consultants, regulators and inspectors.
