Job Title: Financial analyst
Reports to: Finance manager
Location: Frankfurt
Job context
The role reports directly to the Finance Manager based in Frankfurt.
As a member of the FRA Team, the financial analyst will have to work closely with all finance and non-finance colleagues in Frankfurt as well as with Group finance team based in Millbank.
Purpose of the Job
The financial analyst assists the Finance manager in all accounting, controlling, HR and other administrative activities.
In a context of IPO and introduction of a new ERP in the company the role will make sure to deliver all the reports timely and accurately and will support the finance department in all its activities.
Results required from the Job
a) Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly closings in accordance with IFRS, Group policy and German GAAP for the 5 entities based in Frankfurt
b) Complete the financial accounts and internal reports on a timely and accurate basis
c) Support the finance department (Finance Manager and senior accountant) in planning and forecasting, cash management, Capital management, tax , financial and management accounting
d) Enforce the financial controls for all group companies in Frankfurt (5 entities)
e) Support in all ad hoc and administrative activities performed by the finance department
Required qualifications
• Essential qualifications:
Accountancy qualification and degree
Post graduate qualification
Essential Previous experience
3 years in role, undertaking similar tasks, or as an auditor
Essential skills and knowledge
Excellent analytical skills and communication skills
Good Knowledge of IFRS and German GAAPs
Competent with Microsoft office, especially Excel
Experience with ERP systems
