Vacancy Description
Reading of plates for determination of:
- Standard Plate Count
- Coliforms/ E. coli
- Thermophiles
- Yeasts and Molds
- Includes any necessary follow-up work, gram stains, and identifications
- Salmonella
- Coagulase positive Staphylococcus aureus
- Group D Streptococcus
- Clostridium perfringens
- Bacillus cereus / spores
- Performs routine screening of diagnostic media products for pathogens
- Enter data results into corporate business system (SAP)
- Preparation of laboratory medias and reagents
- Quality Control of prepared media
- Maintenance/preservation of working and stock cultures
- Performs routine preventative maintenance on balances and lab equipment
