Lead Mine Performance from Planning to Production
Lead a team of more than 10 employees, with responsibility for mining operations, mobile equipment and crushing performance. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll influence safety, production costs and the long-term development of the reserve.

Key priorities

Lead safe mining and crushing operations, maintaining compliance with MSHA and environmental requirements.

Implement mine plans, contribute to five-year planning and deliver annual material movement targets while protecting reserve viability and product quality.

Manage mining and crushing budgets, analyse performance and reduce cost per tonne through targeted operational improvements.

Develop employees and mining professionals, working closely with maintenance teams to improve equipment availability and operational reliability.
The expertise you’ll need

At least five years’ experience in mining operations or mining engineering, including three to five years in leadership or supervision within underground mining or mineral processing.

Practical knowledge of mining production, crushing operations, process control and MSHA requirements.

Experience managing budgets, tracking operational performance and coaching teams to improve safety, quality and productivity.

A degree in mining or geology, or equivalent relevant experience, is desirable. A hands-on approach and availability for on-call duties and additional shifts when required are essential.
