What you’ll be doing

• Support plant planning for approximately 50% of your time, translating customer orders into manufacturing requirements, machine schedules, production hours and labour needs.

• Coordinate with HR and maintenance to support resource availability and machine readiness, reviewing production reports and helping organise the flow through to shipping.

• Support purchasing activities and related administration to keep production requirements on track.

• Monitor inventory continuously, maintain accurate records and flag discrepancies or potential shortages.

Experience needed

• Relevant purchasing, supply-chain or operational administration experience is desirable, particularly practical involvement with orders, stock or production support.

• Strong organisation and attention to detail when managing records and competing priorities.

• Initiative to follow up outstanding actions, resolve queries and communicate clearly across teams.

• Willingness to learn production planning. Previous planning experience is helpful, but this knowledge can be developed internally.
