Walker Lovell are currently seeking an experienced EPC Project Director for a client within the petrochemicals industry.

In this role, you'll be responsible for leading an exciting mega project, ensuring its success by applying excellent project management techniques. We need someone with an Engineering degree and at least 20 years of experience in managing large-scale projects. Your strong decision-making skills and ability to lead multiple departments will be vital as you guide the project team from start to finish, making sure everything stays on track with safety, quality, schedule, and budget. It's a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact!

The role will be spent between Houston and Beaumont, TX with 100% spent in the latter during construction and commissioning phase.

Responsibilities are but are not limited to:

  • Strategically plan, organize, and oversee approved projects, adhering to regulatory and quality control requirements.
  • Effectively manage project execution, promptly reporting any deviations from plans, and provide budget proposals and forecasts based on project schedules.
  • Lead and optimize the performance of project teams, leveraging internal and external resources.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors, maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and execution standards.
  • Ensure projects are safely executed, meeting schedule and budget goals, while fulfilling contractual obligations and providing regular progress reports.

Your Experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering
  • Seasoned experience of managing large-scale EPC projects up to and around the value of $1Billion.
  • Construction Management
