What you'll be doing

Help shape underground mine plans, production schedules and future mine development

Take a leading technical role in solving ground control challenges and strengthening roof and pillar stability

Apply your expertise to ventilation planning, blasting and safe underground operations

Investigate complex geological conditions and turn your findings into practical engineering solutions

Work directly with the Mine Manager and site leadership to improve safety, productivity and operational performance

Influence longer-term mine planning and expansion initiatives
-
Bring engineering judgement to a predominantly underground hard rock limestone operation
What you'll bring
-
Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a closely related technical discipline
-
Strong underground mining experience in hard rock, limestone or a comparable environment
-
Strong knowledge of ground control, roof control and pillar stability
-
Experience with mine planning, ventilation and blasting
-
Understanding of MSHA Part 48 requirements
-
Experience tackling technically challenging underground conditions
-
A strong safety mindset and the ability to turn technical insight into practical action
Previous people-management experience is welcome, but it is not essential. If your strength lies in ground control and underground engineering, this is an opportunity to put that expertise to work in a role with real influence.
