Sourcing Must Haves

• Minimum 12 years senior accounting experience; ideally 15-20+ years

• Strong UAE accounting and regulatory knowledge including VAT, Corporate Tax, MOF

• Experience managing multi-entity consolidated accounts (UAE, US, regional entities)

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent)

• Proven ability to establish and improve financial controls and processes

• Experience leading annual statutory audit processes

• Proficiency with accounting software/ERP (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle)

• Confidence advising CEO and senior leadership directly

Sourcing Nice to Haves

• Prior experience in technology, defence-tech, or security sector companies

• Familiarity with US GAAP and Delaware corporate financial reporting

• Arabic language skills advantageous

Location Requirements

• UAE-based preferred; Abu Dhabi on-site advantageous

• Role currently remote but expected to become office-based in Abu Dhabi

• Visa sponsorship and relocation support may be available but preference for candidates with established UAE experience
