Site Maintenance Manager

Oversee and optimise maintenance operations to ensure the integrity, reliability, and efficiency of plant assets throughout their lifecycle. Lead a skilled team to execute maintenance activities effectively in a 24/7 environment, ensuring first-time-right execution in critical situations. Foster a safe, compliant, and cost-effective maintenance culture while aligning practices across sites. Enhance equipment history tracking, work instructions, and spare parts management in SAP, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce compliance with legislation, HSE standards, and corporate policies.

  • Provide leadership in safety, maintenance execution, and technical integrity.

  • Develop and implement a contractor safety plan.

  • Translate business goals into a Maintenance Plan with clear KPIs.

  • Deliver maintenance targets within budget, ensuring full PM scope.

  • Lead key initiatives, including SAP transition and backlog reduction.

  • Optimize work execution across plants, fostering alignment and consistency.

  • Ensure workforce competency and leadership development.

You recognise yourself in this:

  • You have completed a Master’s degree in Engineering.

  • Proven experience in the (petro)chemical industry in relevant functional leadership roles (minimum 10 years).

  • Experienced as a leader in a process industry manufacturing environment with a proven track record of operational responsibility.

  • Strong leadership background, including managing team leaders.

  • Solid experience with budgeting and financial reporting; strong business acumen.

  • You take ownership of your work and are confident in taking responsibility.

  • Safety is a top priority for you.

  • You perform well under pressure.

  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
