Sourcing Nice to Haves

  • Existing relationships with key geotechnical firms: Terracon, ECS Southeast, TTL, BHATE, SES, Building & Earth Sciences

  • Vulcan profiles with strong roads & civil relationships may be considered

  • Experience or network with customers such as CW Matthews, WS Newell / Newell Road Builders, Rock Solid, Plateau, Probst (only if disclosed and handled carefully)

  • Master’s degree in Business or Finance is a plus

Location Requirements

  • Role based in Calera/Birmingham, Alabama

  • Candidate must have strong existing network within Southeast US roads & civil market

  • Candidates from outside Southeast US or without relevant networks not prioritized

Other Preferences

  • Two candidate profiles targeted:

    • Mid-level (7–10 years) with strong networks and growth potential

    • Senior (10–15 years) capable of evolving into regional leadership

  • Role offers long-term career progression into leadership and opportunity to become regional hub for roads & civil

  • Compensation range $125,000–$165,000 base with 20% bonus potential, flexible for high-caliber candidates

  • Candidate must be capable of overnight travel up to 30%

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge a plus

  • Physical ability to work in office, mining, and lime processing environments, including lifting up to 50 pounds

  • Must maintain integrity regarding customer relationships, especially avoiding direct targeting of current customers without prior notice
